Take a video tour of our care home
Discover everything you need to know about our home with our latest video tour. It’ll give you an overview of our home, from the care we provide to the facilities on offer, with photography of the bedrooms and living areas too.
Warm, welcoming and friendly care in a modern home
We offer our residents a balance of assistance and self help to ensure they get the most out of their time with us. Our home is built to account for each resident’s abilities and we aim to fulfil any requests as well as we can.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
We have plenty of lounge spaces for residents to spend time with friends and family both inside and out. Our onsite salon lets residents spend time pampering themselves.
Find your favourite books or discover new ones
We have ample space for people to read in quiet spaces and a large selection of novels to choose from.
Walk around our open gardens
Our gardens have plenty of spaces for residents to unwind in and just admire their surroundings.
Enjoy the sun in our conservatory
The conservatory offers ample natural light and wide spaces so residents can enjoy good weather even when inside.
There’s no typical day at Elm View, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Travel to the local seaside
Thanks to our location, we regularly take our residents on seaside outings to enjoy the good summer weather.
Participate in multiple gentle exercises
We promote multiple gentle exercise classes to encourage residents to stay fit and healthy both from the comfort of their armchair and beds.
Spend time with the local nursery groups
With visiting nursery groups, our residents can socialise and play games with the visiting children.
“People and relatives felt staff were kind and caring. One person told us, ‘Staff are very nice’. Another person said, ‘Yes staff are kind and caring. It's a happy place’. One relative said, ‘The care staff are excellent’…
The service had positive links to the local community. For example, a local school visited regularly. The service held open events such as summer BBQ's and a local singing group had visited to sing some of their recent songs. This meant people had access to their local community with positive links being formed.”
