Welcome to Elmwood Care Home in Leeds

newly reburbished

Oakwood is a historic Leeds suburb that's famously known for its clock tower and the home to Elmwood. Featuring a spacious main lounge and large, mature landscaped gardens with the added bonuses of a furnished patio area, summerhouse and peaceful water feature, Elmwood is a well-equipped and comfortable home.

We offer various levels of care at the home that have been carefully planned out so that we can cater for a range of needs – from nursing and post-operative care to shorter-term convalescence or respite. The home also has specialist palliative care facilities.

Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.

This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.
