A bright and airy building in a simplistic environment
We want our residents to be able to live well with respect and kindness. We understand the challenges posed by dementia, and with the help of our dementia champions, aim to give them as much independence as possible.

Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
There are four lounges spread throughout the home that residents can use for games and relaxation. We have a reminiscence room to help bring back old memories and stories.
Take in the sights and sounds of our secure garden
Our huge wrap-around garden is perfect for a gentle stroll and sitting in the sun to relax.

Grab a coffee and cake
Our vintage style café has an excellent selection of coffee and cake making it the ideal place to chat with friends and family.

Get relaxing treatments and pampering
Our onsite salon is the perfect place for you to unwind and make use of our beautician services of which we have a wide variety.

There’s no typical day at Freelands Croft, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Watch your favourite films with the cinema club
The cinema club watches a wide variety of films that are all selected by the residents, we are always willing to expand our collection.

Interact and de-stress with animal therapy
We get regular visits from therapy animals which our residents can pet and spend time with.

Trips out to the seaside and local attractions
Thanks to our location, we often make trips to the seaside and other local attractions.

“Staff treated people with kindness and respect. There were positive interactions between people and staff. People were happy and relaxed around staff. Staff showed a kind, caring approach when talking to people, their families and each other. A visiting relative told us they found the home to be "warm and welcoming"”
"We are eternally grateful for the support and care mum has received in the past year. They have supported us with regular updates on her health and well-being. We cannot praise them enough."
Daughter of Resident, 09 June 2021, carehome.co.uk
"Because my mother moved there during the pandemic, it has been very difficult to visit and I was unable to view the home prior to her being discharged there from hospital following a fall and fracture to her hip. The care staff however have been helpful and supportive and seem to treat my mum with kindness and respect. The resident liaison manager in particular has worked hard to reassure me and keep me informed about how mum is doing. We are quite a large close family and he has tried to respond to every request made by all of us."
Daughter of Resident, 05 May 2021, carehome.co.uk
"Freelands Croft have looked after Mum with kindness and professionalism. They have been a great comfort to us during the pandemic. I recently visited her for the first time for nearly a year and she was looking well and happy to finally see some family."
