Kerrie, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
A bright and airy building in a simplistic environment
We want our residents to be able to live well with respect and kindness. We understand the challenges posed by dementia, and with the help of our dementia champions, aim to give them as much independence as possible.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
There are four lounges spread throughout the home that residents can use for games and relaxation. We have a reminiscence room to help bring back old memories and stories.
Take in the sights and sounds of our secure garden
Our huge wrap-around garden is perfect for a gentle stroll and sitting in the sun to relax.
Grab a coffee and cake
Our vintage style café has an excellent selection of coffee and cake making it the ideal place to chat with friends and family.
Get relaxing treatments and pampering
Our onsite salon is the perfect place for you to unwind and make use of our beautician services of which we have a wide variety.
There’s no typical day at Freelands Croft, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Music, entertainment and more
Our entertainment rooms can be used to listen to music, get lost in a good book and also provides a private space for residents and families to enjoy for small gatherings.
Interact and de-stress with animal therapy
We get regular visits from therapy animals which our residents can pet and spend time with.
Trips out to the seaside and local attractions
Thanks to our location, we often make trips to the seaside and other local attractions.
“Staff treated people with kindness and respect. There were positive interactions between people and staff. People were happy and relaxed around staff. Staff showed a kind, caring approach when talking to people, their families and each other. A visiting relative told us they found the home to be "warm and welcoming"”
