A Victorian home in charming Oxford
Our home still has the large windows and high ceilings associated with Victorian décor, this allows for ample natural light and a spacious, homely feel. Residents can even bring their own belongings for a personal touch.

Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
We have four lounges that residents can make use of to either listen to music, have a drink or participate in activities. There are also private rooms that can be used for those special occasions.
Find a good book in our onsite library
This quiet space is the perfect place to curl up with a good book or simply find peaceful solitude.

Stroll through our mature gardens
Our mature garden is lovingly looked after, and residents can sit among the flowers on the patio or under a pergola.

Make the most of good weather in our garden summer house
For those wanting a bit more privacy, our summer house provides a perfect location to relax in good weather.

There’s no typical day at Green Gates, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Join in with Age UK events
We work closely with Age UK to give our residents the best events we possibly can.

Partake in Tai Chi both in and out of bed
Tai-Chi is a perfect way to relax and de-stress while maintaining a healthy level of fitness. The best part is that this can be done both in and out of bed.

Trips into and around Oxford
Being close to Oxford, there is a plethora of local activities that residents can see and enjoy.

“People received personalised care. This included, nutrition, moving and handling and emotional support. Staff spoke with us about ensuring people received personalised care. One staff member said, "I provide personalised care. This is care provided the way the resident wants it provided. It is about individuality". People were offered a range of activities they could engage in.”
“I am very pleased with this care home. The standard of care is excellent, and it give me peace of mind that my mum is being well cared for.”
Daughter of resident, 07 April 2020, carehome.co.uk
“My father is well cared for and comfortable. He has a good relationship with the staff, who recognise his individual needs. His health has improved and the staff are friendly and welcoming to family and friends.”
Daughter of resident, 19 March 2020, carehome.co.uk
“Care for my mother has been very good at Green Gates. Staff are attentive and courteous and the atmosphere is always calm and welcoming. Green Gates is a smaller residential home than she was in previously and there is a more domestic feeling to it that creates a positive vibe throughout.”
Son of resident, 11 March 2020, carehome.co.uk
