An opulent Georgian residence with a homely feel
We have retained much of the period elegance of our home’s former heritage with floating staircases, high ceilings and sash windows that help to give the home an airy and spacious feel.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Residents have a wide range of spaces to make use of including multiple lounges, where they can sit and enjoy drinks with friends and relatives or relax out on the terrace in warm weather.
Make time for those special occasions in our private rooms
We have a dining area where families can host private events, simply ask our staff to book it.
Walk around our lawn gardens and appreciate the local wildlife
Outside, we have a superb raised terrace leading down to a large garden sheltered by mature trees. It’s perfect for watching the birds while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
Relive old memories in our dementia café
We want to help our dementia residents to rediscover old memories and our café is designed to do just that.
There’s no typical day at Harts House, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Maintain a healthy level of fitness
All our residents are encouraged to participate in gentle exercise to music. This can even be done from the comfort of your armchair.
Space for family celebrations
Our home is happy to make space available to families for hosting private events such as birthday parties. We’ll just need to know in advance. Plus, for an additional fee, we can arrange some catering.
Huge variety of entertainment
With a cinema club, sing-a-longs, quizzes and bingo, visiting singers and musicians, there is something for everyone.
“There were systems in place to manage, monitor and improve the quality of the service provided. Survey results from people and their representatives were positive and any issues identified were acted upon. Regular audits were carried out to monitor the quality of the service and drive improvements."
