Ashley, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
How we’re keeping our residents safe from coronavirus (COVID-19)
As ever, the care and safety of our residents and our people continues to be our highest priority during these unprecedented times. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to look after our residents and their loved ones.
We’re following strict infection control measures in all our homes
Be assured we’re taking extra measures to prevent the spread of infection in each of our homes, including frequent deep cleaning and rolling out testing for our staff and residents.
We have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All our homes have been supplied with the necessary supplies of PPE, and our in-house procurement team is ready to source further supplies if needed.
We’re keeping residents and their loved ones connected
We’re doing everything we can to keep our residents connected to their loved ones and the wider community, from video calls to letters and our new Bupa Buddy service.
For the latest updates, support and guidance on coronavirus (COVID-19) please visit our information hub.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Our home was recently refurbished and provides a spacious, comfortable interior. You’ll find French doors that open into our wrap around gardens. There is also a conservatory that residents can unwind in.
Have your favourite drinks while catching up with friends
The onsite bar is the perfect place to enjoy your favourite drinks and chat with friends.

Enjoy the sun and surrounding views from our large terrace
Our large terrace has excellent views and is great place to sit and relax in good weather.

Get some privacy for those special events
We can offer private spaces for events such as birthdays. Just ask our staff and we’ll help arrange it.

There’s no typical day at Hazelmere House, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Rediscover old classics or whole new ones
With a regularly visiting mobile library, residents will always have new books to read.

Make your own contribution to our stunning garden
Residents can make an area of the garden their very own and we encourage them to do so.

Outings to theatres, parks and local garden centres
There is plenty to do in the local area and we’re always taking residents out to visit new and exciting locations.

“We observed kind, compassionate and caring interactions between staff and people receiving support. We received positive feedback about the dignified and respectful approach of staff and it was clear that staff were familiar with people’s preferences and wishes. People were encouraged and supported to participate in a range of different activities.”
“I could not more highly recommend Hazelmere. The care they provided to my mother definitely elevated her life and more importantly provided her with 4 happy and fulfilled years. All the staff were friendly and went continually "above and beyond". They showed her and us; great love and care. I will always remember that and be thankful.”

“My mother was a resident at Hazelmere House. During this time she had a very happy life due to the amazing staff, who cared for Mum with so much love and respect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and all the family are comforted from the happy memories made there.”
