Ashley, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
How we’re keeping our residents safe from coronavirus (COVID-19)
As ever, the care and safety of our residents and our people continues to be our highest priority during these unprecedented times. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to look after our residents and their loved ones.
We’re following strict infection control measures in all our homes
Be assured we’re taking extra measures to prevent the spread of infection in each of our homes, including frequent deep cleaning and rolling out testing for our staff and residents.
We have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All our homes have been supplied with the necessary supplies of PPE, and our in-house procurement team is ready to source further supplies if needed.
We’re keeping residents and their loved ones connected
We’re doing everything we can to keep our residents connected to their loved ones and the wider community, from video calls to letters and our new Bupa Buddy service.

A small and friendly community surrounded by green fields
Once the village school, Hutton Village has been beautifully extended and modernised – but residents still enjoy charming original features like gingerbread gables and pretty windows.

Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Hutton Village is just as attractive outdoors as it is inside, thanks to its lovingly tended grounds. There’s a wide choice of pleasant spots to sit and chat, enjoy hobbies, welcome visitors, or just put your feet up and relax.
Lovely mature gardens for all to enjoy
With outdoor seating, a gazebo, and wheelchair friendly pathways, everyone can enjoy our garden’s sights.

A room just for activities
There is a dedicated space where residents can roll their sleeves up and get stuck into activities like arts and crafts or flower-arranging.

Places to make new friends and welcome old ones
We have a number of lounges and sociable seating areas for residents to spend time catching up with friends and family.

There’s no typical day at Hutton Village, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Making the most of the gardens
There are always summer fetes and garden tea parties that the residents can enjoy while looking over the garden they helped create.

Make elements of the garden your own
We will always aid our residents in adding their own flare to the garden.

Keeping active in mind, body and soul
We hold exercise sessions, dancing, and quizzes to help residents stay active and healthy.

“The home environment was warm and welcoming. People were provided with opportunities to engage in activities of their choosing… We observed positive and caring interactions between people and staff… People and their families were encouraged to share information about their life history… People told us they felt listened to and were involved in decisions about their care and support.”
“My mother is currently a resident at the home and we are very happy with the care she receives. The staff are always professional and extremely caring and supportive of the residents. The home itself is well furnished and lots of the rooms have views of the large beautiful garden. The home organise various fetes and events in the gardens for the residents and relatives to enjoy and the atmosphere is of an extended family.”

“Following a stay in the hospital, our Mother needed some recovery time. The entire team at Hutton Village were brilliant, and Mum left with her confidence restored and positivity renewed. All of the team were welcoming, polite and incredibly supportive of Mum and myself. The accommodation is bright, spacious, surrounded by beautiful gardens and resembles more of a hotel than a care home. The food provided is home-cooked, of a very high standard and personal preferences are catered for. There are numerous, varied activities available both morning and afternoon - some small groups, some larger. I am absolutely delighted that we chose Hutton Village for Mum's short stay, she left feeling pampered and positive about returning to her own home. I cannot thank the team enough.”

“Very caring, happy environment. Very approachable. We have found that if we have any concerns they are dealt with very quickly. We count ourselves very lucky to have found Hutton Village and our mum, who is the most important person, feels safe and secure there.”
