Take a video tour of our care home
Discover everything you need to know about our home with our latest video tour. It’ll give you an overview of our home, from the care we provide to the facilities on offer, with photography of the bedrooms and living areas too.
A truly person-centred approach to dementia care
All of our staff are trained in dementia, and we all help our residents to enjoy as much choice, independence and dignity as possible. We enable them to lead rewarding lives, even when they’re living with dementia.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
This modern, purpose-built home has comfortable lounges on every floor. To help them feel at home, residents are welcome to bring a favourite armchair, a TV, pictures and knick-knacks.
Pretty bedrooms
Every room has an en-suite; some have a garden view, a patio door into the garden or a balcony. All are nicely decorated.

A secure garden
We have a large, secure, well-tended garden surrounded by mature trees for extra privacy. There is a bird bath for attracting wildlife to watch.

Cake brings people together
The coffee area has comfy sofas and freshly baked home-made cakes every day.

There’s no typical day at Knights' Grove, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Lots of outings
Trips are a big thing at Knights’ Grove – like fish and chips at the seaside, making teddies at a shop, and visits to a coffee shop every Friday.

#NeverTooLate: Going back to the palace
A former Coldstream Guard revisited Buckingham Palace where he worked between 1954 and 1956. He had a private tour of Wellington Barracks before watching the inspection, selection and changing of the guard up close.

Holding onto those green fingers
The raised beds make it easier for residents who’d like to potter about and do a spot of gardening – our home even grows its own veg.

"My mum has been at Knights Grove since February, it was a very difficult decision to put her in a care home but Knights Grove has been amazing. It really does feel like a family there, all the staff are so caring and look after her and the other residents so well. There are always lots of activities for Mum to join in with, entertainment, parties and singalongs and the food is excellent. We are always as a family made to feel very welcome when we visit and it is a pleasure to visit mum in such a caring environment. Any concerns regarding mum are immediately communicated to me and we work as a team to resolve any issues she might be having. Although mum has dementia she tells me regularly that she is well looked after and has thanked the staff herself for their care which is a testament to all the staff at Knights Grove."

"Our mother resided in Knights' Grove for seven years, during which time she was assisted through her dementia journey. At each stage staff showed great care, empathy and compassion, subtly changing the way they provided support and care as her condition slowly deteriorated. In early September, it seemed she was starting to slip away. The staff showed their customary compassion, ensuring that she was comfortable and warm, and that although she was unable to appreciate her surroundings or respond, she was seldom alone for any length of time. We have always been fully appraised of her situation; in her final stages we were there most of the time. While caring for Mum, the staff also provided great support for us, ensuring that we required nothing, including drinks and food when we stayed overnight. The staff managed Mum’s passing with sympathy and empathy, providing comfort for the whole family. We could not have wished for better surroundings or people with whom Mum spent her final days."

"Dad spent the last eighteen months of his life at Knights' Grove Care Home. He was looked after beautifully with care, respect, dignity and love. My family and I couldn't have wished for kinder people to look after him. He was always clean, comfortable and content. We are forever grateful for the level of comfort dad was in."
