Kerrie, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
How we’re keeping our residents safe from coronavirus (COVID-19)
As ever, the care and safety of our residents and our people continues to be our highest priority during these unprecedented times. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to look after our residents and their loved ones.
We’re following strict infection control measures in all our homes
Be assured we’re taking extra measures to prevent the spread of infection in each of our homes, including frequent deep cleaning and rolling out testing for our staff and residents.
We have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All our homes have been supplied with the necessary supplies of PPE, and our in-house procurement team is ready to source further supplies if needed.
We’re keeping residents and their loved ones connected
We’re doing everything we can to keep our residents connected to their loved ones and the wider community, from video calls to letters and our new Bupa Buddy service.

Discover everything you need to know about our home with our latest video tour. It’ll give you an overview of our home, from the care we provide to the facilities on offer, with photography of the bedrooms and living areas too.
A truly person-centred approach to dementia care
All of our staff are trained in dementia, and we all help our residents to enjoy as much choice, independence and dignity as possible. We enable them to lead rewarding lives, even when they’re living with dementia.

Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
This modern, purpose-built home has comfortable lounges on every floor. To help them feel at home, residents are welcome to bring a favourite armchair, a TV, pictures and knick-knacks.
Pretty bedrooms
Every room has an en-suite; some have a garden view, a patio door into the garden or a balcony. All are nicely decorated.

A secure garden
We have a large, secure, well-tended garden surrounded by mature trees for extra privacy. There is a bird bath for attracting wildlife to watch.

Cake brings people together
The coffee area has comfy sofas and freshly baked home-made cakes every day.

There’s no typical day at Knights' Grove, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Lots of outings
Trips are a big thing at Knights’ Grove – like fish and chips at the seaside, making teddies at a shop, and visits to a coffee shop every Friday.

#NeverTooLate: Going back to the palace
A former Coldstream Guard revisited Buckingham Palace where he worked between 1954 and 1956. He had a private tour of Wellington Barracks before watching the inspection, selection and changing of the guard up close.

Holding onto those green fingers
The raised beds make it easier for residents who’d like to potter about and do a spot of gardening – our home even grows its own veg.

"I can't fault this home at all. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble! Mum's room is bright and homely. The care given is excellent. Very happy with Knights Grove!"

“Always welcoming and helpful on arrival and the care staff are happy to answer questions about my Dad. The home smells fresh and clean throughout and I have never visited Dad without him being well presented.”
Daughter of resident, 6 May 2021, carehome.co.uk
“My mother has been a resident of Knights Grove for over 6 years and although her condition has worsened, the continued care and kindness shown to her has been exceptional. Staff cannot be praised highly enough, always having the time to talk to residents’ relatives and to keep them informed of any concerns. I would highly recommend this care home to anybody looking for a safe and happy home for a loved one.”
