A social home providing independence and security
At Nairn House, each of our residents has a unique plan tailored just for them. This allows us to treat each resident with the respect, dignity and quality of life they deserve.

Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
A range of activities are held across the three floors of our home. We have ample space for residents to enjoy coffee with friends or find a quiet place to sit down with a good book.
Walk around our beautiful garden
Residents will find ample space to relax and unwind in a variety of peaceful spots.

Dine in style with friends and family
Our high-quality dining rooms offer brilliant meals and can be booked for private events.

Relax in comfort in one of our lounges
With a selection of rooms to sit in, residents will find the best room to pursue their chosen activity.

There’s no typical day at Nairn House, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Choose the therapy that’s right for you
Residents have the choice between participating in pet, flower or musical therapy, choosing the one that is right for them.

Keep fit and healthy
We want all our residents to maintain a healthy lifestyle and encourage them to participate in gentle exercise.

Enjoy days out to the seaside
We are close to the coast and thanks to this we can spend many bright summer days enjoying days out to a variety of locations.

“People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible; the policies and systems in the service supported this practice. People told us they enjoyed the food provided and that they were offered choices of what they wanted to eat. People had regular access to healthcare professionals such as doctors, dentists, chiropodists and opticians.”
“My mother was in the care home for three weeks rehabilitating after a hospital admission and she said the care home staff, facilities, food and care was all fantastic.”
Daughter of resident, May 2018, carehome.co.uk
“The care home was lovely and looked after my grandfather very well. They made him comfortable and always made sure he was ok. One of the sisters made sure us as a family were ok, feeling fine and always reassuring us. Thank you all on floor one for all your help and making sure he was comfortable and ok.”
Granddaughter of resident, 25 February 2020, carehome.co.uk
“The care home is a bright and warm place for my mother. The staff are very kind and professional and so their best to look after my mother. I know that caring for the elderly is not an easy job. I am glad that my mother is being cared for at Nairn House. We had looked at other care homes but none of these were of the standard of Nairn House.”
