"My lovely 97 year old mother had a fall at home in October 2020. Following a stay in hospital it was decided by professionals and family that Mum required full-time care. Mum’s dementia has advanced over the last year. I am thankful I had visited Newton Court earlier last year and thought it would be a lovely care home for Mum if required. Due to the pandemic, everything was out of our hands. In normal circumstances, I would have taken Mum from the hospital to Newton Court. Obviously, this was not possible. Thanks to the wonderful carers and management at the home Mum has settled in very well. The staff at Newton Court are always lovely and cheery when we phone. The nurse is always available to chat about Mum, as due to restrictions set by the government we are unable to visit, we are delighted she is looking after Mum, she is lovely. The wonderful care manager always responds to emails and keeps us informed about the care homes position re restrictions and visits."
