Take a video tour of our care home
Discover everything you need to know about our home with our latest video tour. It’ll give you an overview of our home, from the care we provide to the facilities on offer, with photography of the bedrooms and living areas too.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Residents can enjoy relaxing in one of our many lounges with a cup of tea or a good book. There are spaces around the home where residents can spend time socialising with one another.
Spend time within our rolling landscape gardens
Our gardens are secure, so residents can explore safely whenever they like.
Take in the sun on our seated porch area
Outside, we have a large porch filled with seating, so there’s plenty of room for friends and family to get together when the weather’s nice.
Make time for those special occasions
Our private dining area enables residents to hold private celebrations for any event.
There’s no typical day at Norewood Lodge, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Polish your ballroom dancing techniques
Ballroom dancing is just one of the many activities we offer and we encourage our residents to participate and learn something new.
Paint pictures and make stories with the young
We are regularly visited by school children who participate in painting and social events with the residents.
“Staff had built trusting relationships with people. People were happy with the care they received. Staff interactions with people were positive and caring. There were organised activities and people were able to choose to socialise or spend time alone. There were strong links with the local community. People and relatives felt able to raise concerns with staff and the manager.”
"During Mum's five years at Norewood Lodge she received excellent and compassionate care. All the staff were attentive and caring and, as her mobility decreased, all her nursing needs were met with a smile. The reception staff were always welcoming to us, happy to talk and nothing was too much trouble if a problem arose. The catering staff offered good food and managed Mum's diet well. Mum died peacefully with family and staff at her bedside. We were given as much time as we needed with her and our privacy was respected. Our grateful thanks go to all the staff."

"My mother was cared for at Norewood Lodge for the last three months of her life. We couldn't want for better care. Sympathetic care and understanding, it was excellent. My mother enjoyed the meals immensely, giving her pleasure and nourishment. The nursing staff were very professional, attending to her medical needs and reducing her discomfort as required. I would not hesitate to recommend Norewood Lodge."
