Dementia support café every third Thursday of the month from 2pm to 3pm
We know that supporting a loved one with dementia can be difficult, so we've organised this group to support family and friends who are caring for someone living with dementia. Our specialist dementia champion will be on hand to answer any questions and offer advice.

Tailored dementia care focused on dignity and respect

Our stylish, purpose-built home is situated in the peaceful residential area of Bitterne. Here, we warmly welcome those living with dementia in need of nursing or palliative care. This allows us to put a real focus on ensuring residents get the right level of care for their needs.

Personalised care in a warm, welcoming environment

We put a real focus on making sure our care provides residents with the respect, dignity and high quality of life that they deserve. We encourage them to get involved in the variety of activities we offer to cultivate a social atmosphere.

Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time

We have multiple lounges that residents can use to have a coffee or read books. There are also quiet places around the home if residents want some peace or a nap.

There’s no typical day at Oak Lodge, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
