Welcome to the Priory Care Home in Monkspath, Shirley

Our warm and friendly care home is fully equipped and has been designed to deliver the very best level of care for our residents. Located in the quiet Solihull residential area of Monkspath, we are close to the village shops and on a local bus route. A GP surgery is a short distance from the home, which is surrounded by fully enclosed private gardens.

Our dedicated care team take time to get to know each individual, tailoring their care to give them as much independence as possible. Our focus is on respect, dignity and quality of life.

Care provided for those who need some social interaction or are recovering from illness or surgery and their main carer is unavailable during the day

We offer 24-hour personal support to those with a condition that requires frequent specialised, qualified nursing care.

We provide respectful and meaningful care for residents and support for their relatives and loved ones. We make sure that their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are considered and met.

Provides accommodation, meals and personal care for those who find it increasingly difficult to cope at home without assistance.

Short stays offering round the clock care in a safe, comfortable environment. Perfect for carers who are ill, on holiday or just need a break.

You can make an appointment by calling us and booking in a visit with our home manager.  We have an open door policy, so you’re welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we advise you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy.

Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.

This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.
