A welcoming home right in the centre of Sidcup
The Sidcup is a purpose-built home with modern comforts and conveniences. We’ll always do our best to accommodate a couple, offering them a private living room in addition to a bedroom.
“Welcome to The Sidcup Care Home, we’d be delighted to show you around. Our team is passionate about providing the best person-centred care and our top priority is the safety and welfare of the residents.”
Caroline Soriano - Home manager at The Sidcup
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
To help them settle in, residents are welcome to personalise their room with pictures and knick-knacks from home. And it’s easier to make new friends when tea and coffee are served regularly throughout the day.
Attractive, comfy bedrooms
All rooms come with an en-suite WC, with shared bathrooms around the home.
Make the most of the outdoors
The garden comes with a pergola and a wheelchair friendly path. The back garden is screened by mature trees with lots of attractive outdoor seating and parasols.
Music, entertainment and more
There are plenty of inviting spots where residents can socialise or relax. We have an entertainment room, salon and a choice of lounges.
There’s no typical day at The Sidcup, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Encouraging mobility
Gardening, tai chi, gentle armchair exercises and massages are all ideal ways for our residents to get up and get moving.
Enjoyable activities for everyone
Visiting entertainers and nursery children provide exciting weekly activities.
Just 30 yards off the High Street
We’re close to the very centre of town with lots of opportunities to visit the shops and cafés on our doorstep.
“People said they were supported by caring staff who cared for them in a way that respected their privacy. People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. People's feedback about staff was consistently positive.”
"I cannot praise the home enough. The care, the cleanliness, the dedication, the meal choices, exceed all expectations. This care home is a real gem of a find, we honestly as a family cannot fault it in any way."
