A smart, purpose-built home in a pleasant neighbourhood
Westcombe Park is in a quiet area of Blackheath, London, between Greenwich and Woolwich. We’re just a few minutes’ walk from lively local shops, cafés and restaurants.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Family and friends are warmly invited to visit at any time, perhaps sharing a meal with us or joining in with an activity. Residents are welcome to bring pictures, knick-knacks and other special items from home.
Spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms
There are soft furnishings, lots of natural light, and residents are free to spend time in their rooms in the day if they wish
Large, lovingly tended gardens
There are several garden areas with pleasant lawns, mature trees, and raised flower beds so residents can get close to them. There is lots of outdoor seating with parasols for shade.
Lots of cosy places to entertain visitors
Residents have the choice of several lounges and quiet spots where they can catch up with friends and family over a cup of coffee and freshly baked cake.
There’s no typical day at Westcombe Park, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Lots of special interests
Residents can get involved as much or as little as they like with our range of activities. We have singers, quizzes, knit and natter, chair aerobics, art club to name a few.
Keep fit and healthy with gentle armchair exercises
From the comfort of their armchair, residents can still maintain a healthy level of fitness.
The company of children and young people
Our residents enjoy visits from younger people who come into the home to spend time with them or to volunteer.
"People told us they were well looked after, and that staff were kind. We observed that staff followed safe infection control practices. A relative commented, "I would give them top marks for cleanliness and their Covid-19 measures." People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests."
"A very friendly and homely environment with happy and helpful staff. Really great management with a focused, energetic and proactive service. A kind caring nursing home that provides specific bespoke and personal care. Thank you."
