Ashley, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
A smart, purpose-built home in a pleasant neighbourhood
Westcombe Park is in a quiet area of Blackheath, London, between Greenwich and Woolwich. We’re just a few minutes’ walk from lively local shops, cafés and restaurants.

"Welcome to Westcombe Park Care Home, we’d be delighted to show you around. Our team is passionate about providing the best person-centred care and our top priority is the safety and welfare of the residents."
Susan Deol - Home Manager at Westcombe Park
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Family and friends are warmly invited to visit at any time, perhaps sharing a meal with us or joining in with an activity. Residents are welcome to bring pictures, knick-knacks and other special items from home.
Spacious and prettily decorated bedrooms
There are soft furnishings, lots of natural light, and residents are free to spend time in their rooms in the day if they wish
Large, lovingly tended gardens
There are several garden areas with pleasant lawns, mature trees, and raised flower beds so residents can get close to them. There is lots of outdoor seating with parasols for shade.
Lots of cosy places to entertain visitors
Residents have the choice of several lounges and quiet spots where they can catch up with friends and family over a cup of coffee and freshly baked cake.
There’s no typical day at Westcombe Park, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Activities to suit a wide range of interests
There are wildlife and gardening clubs, dominoes and indoor bowls, and visits from a mobile library ensuring there is plenty to do.
Looking after mind, body and soul
We have pamper days, reminiscence sessions, gentle keep fit classes and religious services.
The company of children and young people
Our residents enjoy visits from younger people who come into the home to spend time with them or to volunteer.
“Staff respected people's choices and preferences… around where people preferred to spend time, such as in their own room, the lounge or to walk about in the home. Staff told us that they ensured people's choices were respected, such as about clothes, food and drinks, and if they would like to stay in bed or come into the lounge.”
“My sister came here for end of life care. She has actually improved and is no longer end of life! She’s likely to move back into community. The care she has received here has been exceptional.”
Sister of resident, January 2019, carehome.co.uk
“After a long hospital stay, we were very concerned regarding my mother’s future and quality of life. We’ve been very impressed about her care. The home is clean, and the staff have done an excellent job of making her settled.”
Daughter of resident, April 2019, carehome.co.uk
“Westcombe Park has provided excellent support for my mother in respect of daily care, standard of facilities and provision of food. The atmosphere is caring and friendly, encouraging residents to mix and socialise.”
Son of resident, July 2018, carehome.co.uk
