Jacqui, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
How we’re keeping our residents safe from coronavirus (COVID-19)
As ever, the care and safety of our residents and our people continues to be our highest priority during these unprecedented times. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to look after our residents and their loved ones.
We’re following strict infection control measures in all our homes
Be assured we’re taking extra measures to prevent the spread of infection in each of our homes, including frequent deep cleaning and rolling out testing for our staff and residents.
We have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All our homes have been supplied with the necessary supplies of PPE, and our in-house procurement team is ready to source further supplies if needed.
We’re keeping residents and their loved ones connected
We’re doing everything we can to keep our residents connected to their loved ones and the wider community, from video calls to letters and our new Bupa Buddy service.
For the latest updates, support and guidance on coronavirus (COVID-19) please visit our information hub.
Take a video tour of our care home
Discover everything you need to know about our home with our latest video tour. It’ll give you an overview of our home, from the care we provide to the facilities on offer, with photography of the bedrooms and living areas too.
Person centred care
We think it’s important for our residents to make their own decisions wherever they can. They choose what activities they’d like us to arrange for them, and our menus are guided by what they fancy eating.

“Welcome to Wilton Manor Care Home. The team at Wilton Manor are committed to providing residents with the highest standard of care, and we make sure our residents are happy and enjoying each day in the way they choose and feel at home. We are like a big family here.”
Mariana Hrisimova - General manager at Wilton Manor

Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Everyone’s given the opportunity to do a spot of gardening – we’ve even raised the fruit and vegetable patches and the flower beds for those who use a wheelchair.
The Wilton Wishing Well can make wishes come true
If your loved one has a wish, write it on a coin, throw it in the well and we'll do our best to make it happen.

There’s lots of fun to be had outdoors
Residents can help with jobs in the garden and participate in outdoor games, singing and dancing. We also hold coffee mornings in the garden.

Attractive places to socialise or just put your feet up
Our pretty bedrooms are pleasantly decorated as are our shared spaces, like lounges and dining rooms – anywhere is fine for receiving visitors.

There’s no typical day at Wilton Manor, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Sharing happy memories
We help residents create memory boxes, looking at old pictures and magazines; old-time singing and dancing. We talk to residents about what made them happy in life before they moved here.

Encouraging creativity
There is always a chance to keep up an existing skill or learn a new one – like flower-arranging, cooking and baking, gardening, arts & crafts.

Fluffy friends visit regularly
We hold pet therapy with visiting dogs and cats, guinea pigs, creepy crawlies and even birds of prey – residents find it soothing to spend time with animals, and they share stories about their own pets in the past.

“We wanted my Aunt to be placed somewhere nice and Wilton Manor Care Home is well beyond our expectations. The staff are lovely, and the home is clean, tidy and well decorated. Going into a home is not always easy for the elderly, so to be placed somewhere where it feels like home, is really important.”
Niece of resident, 14 July 2021, carehome.co.uk
“This home has provided excellent, professional and friendly care for my mum. They treat her with dignity and respect as well as providing excellent nursing care. They are brilliant at keeping in touch with us; if there are any changes at all with mum, no matter how small they may be.“
Daughter of resident, 29 June 2021, carehome.co.uk
“We as a family have found the care that mum has received as exemplary. When she arrived there she was losing weight and stayed in bed, yet now she is eating better and has become very much more mobile with or without her Zimmer frame! We have nothing but praise for the staff at Wilton for taking such very good care of mum.”
