Kerrie, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
An active home with a real community spirit
We encourage everyone to get involved in day-to-day life. Residents’ and relatives’ opinions and ideas are welcome on every subject, from menus and activities to local trips and outings.
"I'm pleased to be leading an excellent team at Wykebeck Court. We are really pleased with the result of the latest ‘Good’ inspection by the CQC and it's great to be recognised for the quality of care we are providing. We aim to provide the very best care and a homely feel so our residents can call it home."
Dianne Hashmi - Home manager at Wykebeck Court

Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
We have 84 bedrooms with eight lounges and five dining rooms for residents and visitors to enjoy, and several places for private dining. All areas have been designed to be wide enough for wheelchairs.
Tasteful and spacious throughout
Our purpose-built home is stylishly decorated and attractively furnished, with particularly spacious bedrooms.

Cinema, café area and salon
There are lots of spaces to enjoy entertainment, have a little pampering or welcome a visitor.

Large bedrooms which are all en-suite
All rooms come with a shower and WC, plus there are 5 bathrooms if residents fancy a blissful soak.

There’s no typical day at Wykebeck Court, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
A sociable atmosphere
We hold weekly coffee mornings, Knit and Natter group, and have a group called Sparkle to prompt exploring memories together.

Activities to suit a wide range of interests
We have many arts and crafts sessions, darts, dominoes and other games for residents to enjoy.

Staying active and holding onto mobility
We have gentle exercise classes to help our residents keep fit and active, even from the comfort of their armchair.

"Outstanding, amazing and caring. This is how all care homes should be run. With care, dignity, understanding and professionalism. The staff and management are amazing and compassionate. My Husband had a very poor experience in another care home and we had to find a new placement. The management couldn't have been more helpful, and after the last experience, it was like being in 5* luxury.
All care homes should follow this Bupa care home on how to care for vulnerable people in a respectful dignified way."

"Very pleased with the care Mum has received and the communication with the staff. The home is warm and welcoming. We are kept well-informed about Mum's condition and needs."
Daughter of Resident, 18 April 2023, carehome.co.uk
"My father was only at Wykebeck Court Care Home for seven weeks. He passed away on the 1st of June but the staff were amazing. They made sure he was comfortable and couldn't do enough for him and also for me and my family."
