Annabelle qualified at the University of Bradford and is a full member of the College of Optometrists, General Optical Council and Association of Optometrists. She is a Practitioner with Specialist Interest. She is a Cerium approved visual stress practitioner.
Born in Lincoln Annabelle’s ambition was to open her own practice for the local community to provide them with the personal, professional and consistent eye care they deserve.
In her spare time, Annabelle is kept busy with her two young children. Being a mother she appreciates how intimidating an optician’s can be, especially for children. Her practice delivers the high standards you would expect from an independent practice whilst still being welcoming for the younger family members. Annabelle is happy to test children from two and a half years old. She is also happy to test adults and children with SEN+D.
Annabelle has served Vision Aid Overseas twice. Vision Aid Overseas is an international charity dedicated to transforming access to eyecare services in developing countries. The first time Annabelle travelled to Ghana to provide eye tests to remote communities. Her second trip was to Sierra Leone sharing her time teaching in hospitals as well as providing eye tests to the remote communities. This is something she hopes to be able to do again in the future.
