Ashley graduated from University of Central Lancashire in 2010 with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy. Ashley has since worked extensively in private practice in the UK, and also Australia and New Zealand where she lived for several years gaining experience in the advanced manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques used over there.
She has worked in both professional rugby league and professional rugby union, and with national level swimmers and gymnasts, and enjoys the challenges that sports injuries present. Over the years she has become qualified in acupuncture, dry needling, pilates and is also an SFMA (selective functional movement assessment) practitioner.
Outside of work she enjoys cross training, skiing, and running.
