Elizabeth MacCann graduated from the University of Surrey in 2019 with a BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics. Since leaving University, she has developed her practice in a range of different specialities, both in the NHS and privately, in medical, surgical and chronic conditions.
Elizabeth's area of specialist interest is Critical Care and Gastroenterology, and she has undertaken advanced training in delivering low-FODMAP advice for IBS. She has worked with patients with IBS, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease, Orofacial granulomatosis, functional gut symptoms, eosinophilic oesophagitis, Endometriosis, Liver disease, Pancreatitis, and other gastrointestinal disorders.
Elizabeth is an active member of the British Dietetic Association and kept up to date attending CPD events throughout the year as well as contributing to nutrition policy and guidelines at the Cromwell Hospital.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys being active and trying out various sports. She played hockey in school and club, rowed for 3 years at University and is currently training for her first marathon! She enjoys hiking and travelling to new places and love to read when she gets a spare moment.
