John has worked for Bupa as a Primary Care Doctor in Leeds before becoming an Associate Clinical Director. He qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2005 and trained as a GP in York.
John has worked in a variety of different roles both in the UK and abroad prior to joining Bupa and continues to work as a GP and Appraiser within the NHS. John was a GP Partner in North Yorkshire for 10-years and was also appointed as the Clinical Director for a large GP Federation. He was an elected member of the LMC and was the Lead Tutor for the West Yorkshire Foundation School.
John’s clinical interests are in Diabetes care and Dementia prevention. He is also passionate about the power of lifestyle intervention to help prevent disease.
