What are Epidural injections?

Epidural injections are used to alleviate pain the the lower back, neck, or middle of the back, as well as conditions like sciatica and slipped discs. The procedure involves injecting a corticosteroid into the epidural space of the space which includes, between vertebrae, near the tailbone or around the nerves, to reduce inflammation and relieve pain.
