Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
We want residents to feel at home in our community - that means good company and plenty of places to relax. We have three spacious lounges, inviting dining areas and an on-site hair salon – perfect for a relaxing treat.
Stroll through our wrap-around gardens
There is plenty of greenery surrounding the home, with paths and sunny patios. There is plenty of room to stroll and explore, or sit and enjoy the fresh air.

We’ve room for family, friends and celebrations
Residents have a choice of rooms that can be used to host small family gatherings like birthdays.

Afternoon tea brings everyone together
We serve afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes everyday at 3pm. In the summer this can be enjoyed on the patio.

Themed events and celebrations
Our special themed events include Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, and black history month.

Keeping active and getting creative
With ‘Move and Groove’ gentle exercise classes and arts/crafts, people will find stimulating activities.

Activities to help dementia
Our dementia specialists plan reminiscence sessions and events to help residents with dementia. The specialists get to know residents well, building up pictures of their life stories so they can adapt care and activities.

“During their most recent inspection, the Care Quality Commission found areas where we need to make changes at this home. We’re determined to provide the very best care, so we’re taking this report extremely seriously and are in the process of making all the required improvements.”
"The staff at Collingwood Court Care Home are extremely conscientious, caring and kind. Due to my father's young age, it was an incredibly difficult decision to agree to nursing care. However, my family and I have been so happy with the care he has received and how well he is looked after. I am very grateful for their support during this difficult time."

"My mum has been here four weeks. My mum likes the food, all the workers, she has a laugh with them all. Rooms are nice. Very clean throughout Collingwood Court. My mum seems very happy here. We visit very regularly. I get on with all the staff, they are very friendly and kind and helpful. Communication is very good."

"Mum has made friends since arriving at Collingwood Court Care Home. Mum is looked after well and I can see good progression in her every day. There is an amazing carer who gets to know the residents. She is a true asset to Collingwood Court. I am happy for my mum to be here."
