Jacqui, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
How we’re keeping our residents safe from coronavirus (COVID-19)
As ever, the care and safety of our residents and our people continues to be our highest priority during these unprecedented times. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to look after our residents and their loved ones.
We’re following strict infection control measures in all our homes
Be assured we’re taking extra measures to prevent the spread of infection in each of our homes, including frequent deep cleaning and rolling out testing for our staff and residents.
We have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All our homes have been supplied with the necessary supplies of PPE, and our in-house procurement team is ready to source further supplies if needed.
We’re keeping residents and their loved ones connected
We’re doing everything we can to keep our residents connected to their loved ones and the wider community, from video calls to letters and our new Bupa Buddy service.
For the latest updates, support and guidance on coronavirus (COVID-19) please visit our information hub.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Our ‘one family’ approach means that friends and family are always welcome – whether popping by for a coffee with a loved one, wanting a chat with our staff, or joining in with a meal or activity.
Lovely peaceful bedrooms
All rooms have en-suite WC and shower, some have their own patio, many have garden views, and all have flat-screen TVs.

Pretty gardens
With a summerhouse, patio seating, and raised beds we make it easier if residents want to do a bit of gentle gardening.

Guest suite for family stay-overs
Family are able to be close to loved ones at critical times and can even use the space just for an hour or so, if needed.

There’s no typical day at The Links, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Exploring creativity
We help residents with flower-arranging, gardening, arts and crafts, and baking.

All aboard
Our minibus really helps with trips out around the local area.

Nursery visits
The local nursery children come in every week to spend time with the residents and do activities with them.

“Despite a very difficult year, all the staff have continued to give exceptional service and ensured that our loved ones have been protected and cared for.”

“Since my ma went into The Links, the care and understanding she has received have been exceptional. Her physical health has improved, and she is eating really well (she wasn't eating at all before she went in). The level of care the staff provide is second to none. Ma is so happy and engaged - it truly is a delight to see. I love the activities that are organised, like the poetry compilation for National Poetry Day. My grateful thanks to all the staff at The Links - I can't recommend them highly enough.”
