Dr Damien Smith has been a consultant in Pain Medicine for 16 years, specialising in spinal and MSK pain. He specialises in assessing and treating patients with spinal pain, radicular pain, musculoskeletal pain, headaches and neuropathic symptoms. He provides patients with a better understanding of their condition and treatment strategies to help manage their pain better to improve their level of function. His treatment provides interventional techniques such as epidural injections, facet joint injections, nerve root therapy, rhizotomy and other injection therapies.
Damien works closely with elite level football, rugby and cricket teams regularly treating elite level athletes return to train, return to play with some going on to win national and international competitions that season. He owns and runs a Pain Medicine google group used by pain consultants across UK and Europe.
