James is the Lead Physician at Basinghall clinic, with an interest in sexual health. Before joining Bupa, he completed his medical training at University College London. He also has a master’s degree in computing from Imperial College, London.
James has also previously worked in NHS practices in East and southeast London. He was the HIV lead for Newham CCG, as well as working on the Digital First Programme in east London. He has amassed over five years’ experience in sexual health and HIV in central London teaching hospitals.
With over 15 years since qualifying, he has gained experience across various medical disciplines, with a particular focus on men’s and women's health, sexual health and HIV, dermatology, and musculoskeletal medicine.
In his spare time, you will see him on a ski slope, or tumbling in a gymnastics studio.
