Dr James Stevenson (he/him)

James is an Associate Clinical Director for Bupa Health Clinics, with responsibility for clinics across the North of the UK. He is Sexual Health Clinical Lead, and supports on the development of digital healthcare services, clinical innovation, and governance across the organisation.

Before joining Bupa, James completed his medical training at University College London. and holds a master’s degree in Computing from Imperial College, London.

Alongside his work at Bupa, he continues to practise within the NHS and is involved in sexual health and HIV programmes across London.

With extensive experience in primary care, sexual health, HIV medicine, digital health, and clinical leadership, James has led a range of service improvement, quality, and digital transformation initiatives. His clinical interests include men's and women's health, sexual health and HIV, preventative healthcare, and the use of technology to improve patient outcomes and clinician experience.

Outside of work, you will often find him on a ski slope, playing squash, performing gymnastics, or supporting projects that promote sport and wellbeing.
