Maya Aboukhater delivers diet and nutrition advice to paediatrics, diabetes, gastroenterology and weight management patients at Cromwell Hospital, and she speaks French, Arabic and English.
As a working mum with three young boys, she values the importance of good nutrition through pregnancy, early childhood years and in achieving work-life balance. She is a registered dietitian with the Health Profession Council, and a member of the British Dietetic Association, food allergy and paediatric specialists groups. Maya enjoys working with both adults and children by promoting healthy eating behaviour, helping patients visualize their lifestyle, setting realistic and achievable goals.
Before joining Bupa, Maya worked in acute and community settings at a number of NHS, private and American Hospitals. She received her BSC in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2005, and has a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition.
