What’s covered with Bupa health insurance?
New policy holders
We offer savings to new policy holders when taking out cover for families and couples.
Our health and lifestyle discount offers up to 10% off health insurance premiums for those who meet specific criteria focusing on answers around wellbeing, smoking and your BMI. You’ll be asked these questions when you purchase your policy.
We also offer no claims discounts for all our new policy holders too. This starts building from the first day your policy begins.
Families save 10% when taking out a policy together, compared to the price of separate policies for each family member. You can also cover all your kids for the price of one.
If you take out health insurance as a couple under the same policy, you can also get a 5% discount compared to buying cover separately.
Existing policy holders
Bupa offers a no claims discount for our existing policy holders.
This means that we may be able to offer you lower increases, if you don’t make a claim. If you do claim, it’s likely your premium will be higher.
It’s unlikely that the overall cost of your cover will go down, even if you have a no claims discount.
