At Bupa, we specialise in healthcare alone and we believe our healthcare should be accessible to all. That’s why we have a broad range of products and services, from care homes to health assessments, dental services and free apps. So you don’t need our health insurance to access our expertise.

Doctors are five times more likely to choose Bupa for their health insurance over any other health insurer^#. But what is the reason for this? We think it’s due to our dedication to the health of our customers and the quality of service we provide. Not just to doctors, but all of our customers, whatever their profession.

^#In a research survey in November 2011 of 135 doctors found that 59 percent of doctors were insured by Bupa and only 10 percent of doctors were insured by the second most popular insurer.

What we do

Bupa exists for the benefit of its customers, both present and future in the UK.

Care homes

We have care homes across the UK. They're open to anyone, whether you or your loved one requires long-term nursing and residential care, short-term respite care, or specialist dementia care. You don’t need health insurance to stay in our care homes.

Health insurance

We offer personal, family and company health insurance, which provides over 2.7 million people in the UK^† with the peace of mind of knowing that if they need us, we’re here for them.

Health centres

Whether you’re training for a big event, recovering from an illness, or you just want to check that everything is working as it should, we offer health assessments at Bupa Centres across the country. We have 56 centres, which offer a range of health services at different locations including physiotherapy and cosmetic treatment. You don’t need health insurance to access our Bupa Centres.

Dental services

At Bupa Dental Centres we offer a range of preventive and specialist treatments, including general dentistry, dental examinations and hygiene treatment, and cosmetic dentistry. You don’t need health insurance to access our dental services.

Bupa Cromwell Hospital

Our 128-bed London hospital provides patients with access to over 400 consultants, the latest technology and cutting edge equipment.

International health insurance

If you’re outside the UK, we also provide international health insurance which gives you access to more than 7,500 hospitals and clinics around the world.
