During your first appointment, we'll find out about you as a person, about your health concerns and what goals you'd like to achieve. From there we'll create a personalised treatment plan for you. Treatment plans may include any of the following:

  • Self-management, education and advice
  • Exercise therapy
  • Chronic (long-term)pain management
  • Taping
  • Acupuncture

Sports and exercise medicine

Whether it’s a niggle or an injury - get expert care from our MSK physicians. If appropriate, they can order tests such as X-rays, MRI scans and blood tests to diagnose the problem. Get treatments from injection therapy to shockwave therapy, depending on what's right for you.

Our physicians work with physiotherapists and osteopaths to give you an individual care plan. And if surgery is something that you need, they'll work with orthopaedic surgeons, too. Giving you joined-up care the whole way through.

Osteopathy is based on the idea that your general health and wellbeing depend on your bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues all working smoothly together. Our osteopaths aim to restore your body to a state of balance. They'll use a range of techniques such as physical manipulation to:

  • ease tense muscles
  • improve the blood and nerve supply to the tissues in your body
  • help your body's own healing processes

They can give you advice about posture and exercise to help recovery and stop symptoms returning.

Our women’s health physios are specially trained to treat a wide range of pelvic and abdominal problems such as:

  • aches and pains related to pregnancy
  • abdominal separation
  • urinary incontinence
  • overactive bladder
  • pelvic floor rehabilitation
  • pelvic organ prolapse
  • painful sexual intercourse

The treatments covered can include:

  • exercise programmes to improve movement, function and flexibility
  • core strengthening exercise programme
  • mobilisation and manipulation techniques to reduce pain
  • advice on lifestyle changes
  • taping and provision of supportive equipment, where needed

All you need to do is book a physio appointment by calling 0330 127 7805^ and ask to be booked with a women's health physio
