Prostate and Testicular Check
We offer a comprehensive check for men, non-binary or intersex people and transgender women to discuss and detect the signs of prostate and testicular cancer to give you peace of mind, if we do find something in the check, we can offer advice and support for this.
If you think you have a testicular lump, or are worried re possible cancer symptoms, don’t wait for a health assessment or a Prostate & Testicular check, please make an urgent GP appointment.
The service includes:
30 minutes with a doctor to allow sufficient time for an in-depth consultation to take medical history and provide any clinical checks and tests.
- A PSA blood test if clinically indicated
- A prostate examination if clinically indicated
- Testicular examination and advice/demonstration of self-examination techniques
- Any follow up action required
If your test results show anything suspicious, we’ll quickly refer you to a private specialist, or signpost you to an NHS GP for follow up tests and treatment if required.
