Bupa Health Assessments are provided by Bupa Occupational Health Limited. Registered in England and Wales No. 631336. Registered office: 1 Angel Court, London, EC2R 7HJ.
A testicular examination can help detect any unusual changes to your testicles, like lumps, swelling or shrinking. A lump on your testicle could be a sign of testicular cancer, so it’s important to get it checked out.
Some of our health assessments offer you the opportunity to get your testicles checked by a Bupa GP. We understand this is an intimate procedure, so we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. The doctor will spend time discussing the examination and answer any questions you might have. It’s important to check your testicles regularly, so they’ll also demonstrate how to do this yourself at home.
An examination can help identify the cause of any symptoms you might be experiencing, like pain, inflammation and swelling. Even if you aren’t experiencing any symptoms, getting your testicles checked can help provide peace of mind. During the procedure, a GP will feel both of your testicles to check their size, weight and texture. They’ll also look for signs of swelling or lumps.
We’re here to help with any health concerns you may have. So if anything unusual is detected, we will discuss next steps with you and make sure you’ve got the support you need.
During your health assessment, the team will work with you to set some goals. You’ll receive two follow-up calls from our lifestyle coaches, who will check to see how you’re getting on. You will also have access to our Anytime HealthLine, a telephone service where you’re able to speak to our team of nurses and GPs. This is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
