Period Plan (45 Minutes)

45 minutes duration and a 15 minute follow-up appointment

The Bupa Period plan is suitable for individuals aged 18 or over who feel that they are suffering from symptoms related to their periods. Our GPs are specially trained to offer advice on how to manage your periods.

The plan includes an initial consultation, follow-up appointment and ongoing support for a year with access to our Anytime Healthline nurses.

Mens' Sexual Function Initial Appointment

30 minutes duration and a 15 minute follow-up appointment

This is designed for those who are struggling with erection problems such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and a low libido.

We’ll help you find the cause of these issues so you get long-term help.

The plan includes an initial consultation, follow-up (either in-person or remotely) and ongoing support for a year with access to our Anytime Healthline nurse

Musculoskeletal physician

Our musculoskeletal physicians specialise in diagnosing and treating problems with muscles, bones and joints – with a focus on returning you to full activity, whether sporting or occupational. They are able to treat a wide range of complaints ranging from acute back pain, sprains, muscle tears and sporting injuries to longstanding spinal, joint and muscle issues, including arthritis and spinal damage.

Counselling

Counselling is a therapeutic practice aimed at helping individuals manage and overcome personal challenges, emotional difficulties, and mental health issues.

It focuses on specific emotional problems and may be helpful if you’re generally well and healthy but going through a difficult time in life.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT therapy focuses on dealing with problems in the present rather than looking back at your past or childhood. Common CBT techniques include challenging negative thoughts you have and replacing them with more helpful and realistic ones. You’ll probably be given some ‘homework’ to do between sessions to practise these techniques.

Psychology

This type of talking therapy is suited to people experiencing difficulties with their physical or mental health, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout or chronic pain. Our Psychologists will carefully assess a person’s needs then provide different types of therapy depending on what will suit them best.
