Welcome to Mindplace Harrow, our mental health centre in Harrow. It’s a calm, private space offering a range of self pay therapy and wellbeing services.
Getting here
The centre is conveniently situated near local amenities, with Harrow-on-the-Hill train station and the local bus station located opposite the centre.
While onsite parking is not available, the nearest car park is JustPark, 53–61 College Road, HA1 1FB, located approximately 1 minute's walk from the centre.

What to expect
You will start with an initial mental health review with a mental wellbeing practitioner to understand what support you need.
They'll recommend the best next step for you. This may or may not include therapy. This costs £99 and can last up to an hour.
Our services are designed to support your individual mental health and wellbeing through clinically grounded approaches tailored to your needs.

Counselling
Counselling is a therapeutic practice aimed at helping individuals manage and overcome personal challenges, emotional difficulties, and mental health issues.
It focuses on specific emotional problems and may be helpful if you’re generally well and healthy but going through a difficult time in life.

CBT therapy focuses on dealing with problems in the present rather than looking back at your past or childhood. Common CBT techniques include challenging negative thoughts you have and replacing them with more helpful and realistic ones. You’ll probably be given some ‘homework’ to do between sessions to practise these techniques.

This type of talking therapy is suited to people experiencing difficulties with their physical or mental health, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout or chronic pain. Our Psychologists will carefully assess a person’s needs then provide different types of therapy depending on what will suit them best.
