Harriet Finlayson, Specialist Nurse Adviser - Mental Health, Bupa

Harriet qualified as a mental health nurse in 2009 from Sheffield Hallam University. She has extensive knowledge and experience in supporting young people with their mental health, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Before this, Harriet worked within a residential setting, nursing older adults with dementia.

For the last few years, Harriet has worked as a deputy ward manager in an adolescent inpatient unit. She moved to Bupa after successfully being appointed to the role of Specialist Nurse Adviser within the mental health team.

Harriet has been central to the launch of the Family Mental HealthLine, playing a significant and continuing role in the support of families, parents and young people in the management of their mental health and wellbeing.


Danielle Panton, Specialist Nurse Adviser - Mental Health, Bupa

Danielle is a qualified mental health nurse with over eight years specialist experience working within child and adolescent mental health services. Danielle has worked as a deputy ward manager in an inpatient mental health unit, caring for young people in crisis with a variety of mental health difficulties.

Danielle also has experience working in the community, with young people who have experienced an episode of psychosis. Alongside this she has experience within an A&E department, supporting the mental health rapid assessment and liaison teams.

Danielle’s current role is Specialist Nurse Adviser at Bupa. She has been central to the launch of the Family Mental HealthLine, playing a significant and continuing role in the support of families and young people in the management of their mental health and wellbeing.
