Our onsite Bupa Health centre is run in partnership with Boots within their Bishop Auckland store. Giving you convenient access to a range of GP appointments when you need them. Services available include Face to Face GP appointments, Menopause Plan, Period Plan, Sexual Health and Men’s Sexual Function.

Sexual Health GP Complete
45 minutes duration
This is a comprehensive check for those with or without symptoms. This check includes tests for chlamydia, HIV, gonorrhoea, syphilis, hepatitis B and C, trichomonas vaginalis, ureaplasma, mycoplasma if symptomatic only and candida and bacterial vaginosis if clinically indicated and time with a GP.

Period Plan (45 Minutes)
45 minutes duration and a 15 minute follow-up appointment
The Bupa Period plan is suitable for individuals aged 18 or over who feel that they are suffering from symptoms related to their periods. Our GPs are specially trained to offer advice on how to manage your periods.
The plan includes an initial consultation, follow-up appointment and ongoing support for a year with access to our Anytime Healthline nurses.

Mens' Sexual Function Initial Appointment
30 minutes duration and a 15 minute follow-up appointment
This is designed for those who are struggling with erection problems such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and a low libido.
We’ll help you find the cause of these issues so you get long-term help.
The plan includes an initial consultation, follow-up (either in-person or remotely) and ongoing support for a year with access to our Anytime Healthline nurse

Health assessments
Targeted Cancer Screening
This assessment is for people with no symptoms. This will look for early signs of cancer in your prostate, testicles, breasts or cervix depending on what is relevant for you. You can also add a Mammogram, a QFIT stool check (bowel cancer screen) or a CT colonoscopy for an additional cost.
