    Health Focus

    This assessment provides a focused view of your health combined with up to 30 minutes with a Bupa doctor. This assessment includes a core set of tests that aim to identify key health risks and additional screening based on your lifestyle factors.

    Mature health check

    This assessment is specifically designed for the over 65s, giving you a picture of your health and up to one hour with a Bupa doctor.

    Female health check

    An assessment focused on breast and gynaecological health.

    This assessment includes breast examination, a cervical smear for women 25 and over (in line with NHS guidelines) and blood tests to check for raised cholesterol and anaemia.

    Covid-19 (coronavirus) Antibody Test

    This appointment involves one of our Health Advisors taking a blood sample to test for antibodies to COVID-19 (coronavirus). The presence of antibodies tells you whether you have previously been infected with COVID-19.

    If you’re motivated by your fitness, this test gives you a thorough understanding of your body’s response to exercise. This test provides fitness score – VO2 max (predicted) using respiratory gas analysis and anaerobic threshold.

    Colon health check

    Our colon health check includes a Computed Tomography (CT) scan of your bowel, known as a virtual colonoscopy. This is designed to check for polyps and other signs of bowel cancer .     Musculoskeletal physician

    Our musculoskeletal physicians specialise in diagnosing and treating problems with muscles, bones and joints – with a focus on returning you to full activity, whether sporting or occupational. They are able to treat a wide range of complaints ranging from acute back pain, sprains, muscle tears and sporting injuries to longstanding spinal, joint and muscle issues, including arthritis and spinal damage.
